As I know if device is tested alone all its ports (or at least one of each
type) should be connected by cables with right auxiliary equipment and working.
Did I miss something that allows for testing without these connections ?
 
If the emission of (for example) USB hub will be tested by connecting it with
PC and four USB devices being located out of measurement room (and hardly
working) and pass than I expect using that hub with other system elements
(tested the same way) will rise the same number of observed by user EMC
problems than if the hub was tested by "system" testing.
That is what I have written.
