The CE mark, outside of I/S requirements for special environments, and the EMCD, has no basis, for this point in time, for a small secondary Li bty. 60896-21, 60896-22 and 50272-2 are not necessarily considered normative for 60950-1 when the electrical and mechanical battery interface requirements are satisfied in the equipment for a particular battery. Perhaps you could argue that time is an artifact of human perception and thus an illusion, so all future and past marking directives would apply to all components and equipment that may or may not exist.
EMC can be a significant issue for some battery packs.
