Has any conducted this RF immunity and magnetic field immunity test and found
these Over voltage cutoff  FET gets activated during or after test>
In my experience , Nothing happens.  You can test with 100Volts per meter or
even higher....

Similar question came up for flash memory and I can say based on the first hand
experience , even 1000 volts per meter or equivalent magnetic fields does not
cause hard failures like changing the o to 1  or vice versa.

Re: Lithium Batteries and EMC
As Ken says:

Lithium batteries contain safety critical electronics
that prevent explosion when overcharged, and limit discharge to
a safe value …?..!
A popular cell type is charged to 90% at 3.1 V, 100% at 3.15 V and
explodes or at least burns fiercely when charged to 3.2 V
It is of utmost importance that these charge cut-offs function decently , also
in the presence of strong fields.
This may justify the ce mark and probably some EMC testing.
Numbers vary per technology, so do not try this at home.

Some lithium-ion batteries incorporate active protection circuitry to prevent
over-charging and excessive current drain.

Subject: Lithium Batteries and EMC

I noticed a lithium battery with a CE marking on it.

Is EMC part of that CE Mark? Are there any EMC standards/requirements for smart
batteries?
