All the electronics and electrical appliances are designed for indoor use
only unless some specially designed for outdoor use. It seems this warning
or symbol can be applied to all electronics and electrical appliances but
that is not the case. Most of relevant standards are not required to have
the warning or symbol except a few such as battery charger, Annex AA
(Battery chargers for use by children) of EN 60335-2-29. Is it the
responsibility of the suppliers to prohibit the use of products to by
children? Nowadays, every family has lots of electronics and electrical
appliances, prohibiting the use by children seems unrealistic. What is the
trend for the standards to catch up this area?

Thanks and regards,

Scott
