Although not a requirement, I have used corporate logos on my DoC's. They were
not on letterhead but nonetheless the Logo/Trademark was on the DoC. I viewed
it similarly to a CB Scheme Safety report that requires the Trademark and a
copy of the marking plate to further assist in identifying the product and the
manufacturer claiming compliance to the compulsory requirements. "EN45014 and
ISO17050-1 both have the word "General" criteria or requirements in the title,
so I will assume that means just that, general. One definition of General is:
relating to the main or major parts of something rather than the details : not
specific.

Subject: Re: [PSES] Rejected Manufacturer Declarations

Is EN45014 still applicable? Is ISO17050-1,-2 the correct ref?

Another question - have been told by (Yet Another Import Authority) that these
standards represent the minimum required information, and additional stuff not
necessarily excluded. Comments?
