You could try contacting the filter manufacturers directly, if you
haven't done that already. Maybe one of the smaller, 'try harder'
outfits would be more willing to help. Many manufacturers have products
that they made in the past but don't advertise. I won out on a costly
transformer that way; admittedly it was 'negotiated' over beer, but
resulted in a $100 part for free.
