You make it sound like you had developer access while the sources were in 
SFs CVS, and now lost that merit.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I can't see your name amongst the registered 
developers for the EMC project at Sourceforge.
Setting up anon CVS access is quite the same as for Sourceforge.
You only need to configure Eclipse to use this command:
cvs -z5 -d:ext:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs co emc2

that means it's run through ssh, with anon as the user name. Nothing else 
involved. I even have this running on my windows box with Tortoise CVS. (I 
doubt Eclipse is dumber than that).

Like I said, you can access it if you really want that.
And if you don't manage, then maybe it would be a good idea to ask for help.
It's just not helpful for anyone if you come (by the sound of it a couple 
months later) and tell us "this just doesn't work, I'll move on".
