Hi all,

I have experienced something similar. I have a USC setup that was last run a
few years back on BDI 2.18. I wanted to use it again, but I have a new
computer and wanted to use the latest EMC.
I have not been able to make it run on this new computer (this is the second
new (-ish) computer I have tested it on).

I get about the same results as you. But when I test it with the diagnostics
software it works as it should! I have run the communication test for
several minutes without one single failure.

Much have changed since I used EMC the last time, and I'm having problems
figuring out where to look.

In the guide chapter 8.2 there is mentioned that some computers need parport
drivers to support ports with Plug & Play. If this is the case I need help
to get that sorted.

Jon Elson hadn't heard about this problem before when I contacted him, so I
hope some of you gurus are able to help me get this figured out. The card
itself works when I connect it to the old computer so there is nothing wrong
with the hardware.

Anders
