Hello I want to build a small cnc demo machine that design only to demonstrate how axis move and not to make steel chip maybe plastic or wood chip. I want to use 3/8 lead screw. In X travel 30 inch, Y travel 25 inch, Z travel 12inch. Here is place that makes screws http://www.hsi-inc.com/lead_screws_and_nuts.php Unfortunately they do not make trust bearing that should hold end of the lead screw. So I am looking to buy stage trust bearing that will hold end of lead screw and absorb axial load force from lead screw? Servo motor should not have any axial pressure from screw so all axial force should be absorbed by trust bearing that I need to find. So I need help in finding those trust bearing that should hold lead screw. I check http://www.mcmaster.com/ and many similar places but no luck. Because it is demo machine linear bearing will be from Home Depot. Thank you, Aram
