A factor of five or ten isn't unusual. I don't know if this is a problem. If a factor of five can be obtained with just a modern CPU, that would be over 100 blocks a second. I think that would compare quite favorably with commercial controls. I wish the guy that called me had left his number, so I could call him back with the results.
