Yeah, it would be nice.  Toledo WAS very nice.  The only minus was the 
expensive
hotels, but the convenience of having my car right under the show floor 
and the room
right above was just too much to complain about the $.  I think NAMES 
has made a
BIG mistake, and there will be a big MESS in Southgate in April when all 
those people
converge on the show and and discover they don't FIT!

Well, sure, the big companies do the design and final assembly, but they 
have to subcontract
a huge amount of stuff out to modest firms that specialize in all sorts 
of things.  There are
gearboxes, rotor hubs, blades, control systems, welding, and on and on.  
Wind is going
to get more economical as other fuels get more expensive for a variety 
of reasons.
