This one had two bad servo amps, a bad spindle drive, a ballscrew with balls missing, a bad motor-to-screw coupling, and a broken lube pump! I am probably forgetting other things... But it is a great machine - all linear rails - huge ballscrews with four circuits each. No backlash anywhere. Encoders are micron resolution and are directly on the screws because the servos are direct drive. Very nice coolant circulation system that actually gets the coolant into the tank. I don't know enough to say what problems are common.
