Me?  My Bridgeport has been running on my second-generation PWM drive 
with analog
front end since 1999 or so.  (I had an earlier one with the Harris 
HIP4080 chip that
kept blowing, I eventually replicated most of that chip in a bunch of 
op-amps and IR
FET driver chips).

I have the brushless drives for Fanuc motors pretty well worked out 
now.  Those Fanuc
Red Cap motors are quite awesome.  I also have gotten a size 23 motor 
from Keling and
it also works quite well.  I am planning on starting to sell those 
motors.  I have to fit
encoders to them, and am going to try out those CUI encoders from 
Digi-Key to see
how they work.
