I'm not sure of the value, I paid $1400 for mine a few years back with a
Crusader M L control (has a CRT), but the control didn't work right away so
I replaced it with EMC2. The servo motors, drives, and all worked fine,
just had to replace the control itself. Mine came with an Aloris QC tool
block and a pretty nice chuck. Mine doesn't have the powered turret tool
changer but that would be nice. It looked like the ebay link I sent you had
the servos with it but they are removed. I'm not sure if $1400 is too high
or not, but a new CNC Sherline isn't very cheap either. I could probably
sell the old control for parts and get a few hundred dollars back. The
spindle motor on mine is 7.5hp, I have EMC2 controlling spindle speed and
direction using a VFD. The machine weighs around 2500lbs, has an external
spindle oil radiator & pump, coolant system, and way lube pump system, home
and limit switches, one encoder count is 2 micron, has a spindle encoder for
threading, pretty good machine for a home shop in my opinion.

Clamp-on CNC attachment.

Roger, I would like to know your opinion as to the "monetary fair
value" of such a lathe. I really like that possibility and it is not
too far from me.
