Roland, my freebie copy of eagle seems to have expired, its display has
turned bleached and transparent & largely unusable. So I downloaded the
current version but it will not install, says it needs libpng-14.so and I
have libpng-12. This on an absolutely uptodate install of 32 bit PCLos.

Then I checked both ubunbtu-10.04 LTS and the just released Centos-6.2, but
I have not found anything but libpng-12.so yet.

So I wrote cadsoft last friday asking them what distro's are using that
bleeding edge of a libpng, but of course they haven't answered. Beneath
their dignity I guess.

Cadsoft has, AFAIAC, shot themselves in the foot by effectively disabling
the ability of their software to run on anything more stable than fedora,
which I bailed out of about 3 years ago, tired of being used for a lab rat.

I wasn't schmartd enough to see if I could dl an older version, probably
should have I suppose. When I cool off that is.
