Aha! Thanks Viesturs, found it in my list corpus. And since it appears the sshd daemon isn't running yet on that box, I can't do anything but print the top link & carry it out there when I manage to get a handle on starting the day since its a bit early here in WV yet. Amanda also failed last night, no perms. Probably something in /etc/group & /etc/passwd as I haven't copied those 2 files back yet. Nice coat of frost on everything this morning. Since its in C src, I hope I can build it, I see others have had problems and the forum thread peters out before a success msg was posted. I have done some C, usually making the claim that I know enough C to be dangerous.
