Been using on on my machine for about 10 years now and the ONLY 
problem is the caption on a couple of really used keys is wearing 
off.  I know where the key is and what it does so no problem.
Way back then, a friend was also considering using one so he took a 
hot soldering iron and plunged it into a non critical area and the 
sucker still works!

Personally, think it is the  way to go in the shop environment.
