On Wednesday 01 August 2012 18:49:03 Greg Bernard did opine: > I've been considering one of the flexible keyboards when my current one > gives up the ghost. They're not great for general typing but seem like > they'd work fine for a machine control. The ones I've looked at are > silicone rubber so they should stand up to coolants. > I have one of those, put it on a machine for about 15 minutes. The layout is a bit strange, and actually being able to type something on it was quite frustrating as it came in a tube all rolled up tightly and refused to lay flat on the table. So ATM its rolled back up loosely & laying behind the chop saw.
The key switches in this one are not dead center under the keytop. A weird feeling is as kind as I can be. Very very distracting.
