I've been through this before a few times. I have a couple of hydraulic floor jacks that were made in China that have non standard zerk fitting on them.
The Chinese zerk is too small for a standard SAE gun chuck to grip properly. The sides of the fittings are close to being straight. I went to Tractor supply and bought their metric assortment pack of zerk fitting and none of them fit into the tapped hole. I gave up and tapped the holes to fit a standard US 1/4-28 fitting. I think those particular zerk fitting may be a totally non standard Chinese invention. I've never seen a gun in the US that can deal with them.
