Take a look at the cable power section of the 7I77 manual and make sure you have the 6I25 and 7I77 jumpers correctly set for the desired 7I77 5V power arrangement (Either from cable or external 5V source) If you do not have both yellow LEDS on the top edge of the 7I77 (CR1 and CR3) illuminated you will not get too much further as the analog and field I/O pins will not be available in HAL.
