The velocity is coming right from the mesa.  I am calculating the 
acceleration over a longer time frame (aprox 36ms iirc) because if I 
calculate it every ms - it is pretty much noise...  (because of thread 
jitter and 'stuff')

With linuxcnc testing - It compares pretty closely to its internal hal 
acceleration calculation.
