In any event it would be a start from scratch with the new version, I
pulled it 6 months or so back and it would not even load the .brd from
the lathes old files. ATM, what it does is a shrug. I can wire wrap it
smaller and have already. I have not attached its service cable to the
BoB but thats going to be relatively easy, and lets me power it from the
BoB. Whether I get it done depends on the weather. I need to go get this
new disk under construction, and put the deck back under the rider after
fixing the linkage that fell off yesterday, and finish the yard's height
reduction. And my youngest son and his wife will be here by late
afternoon, staying for at least 3 nights. Weather permitting, some time
at the range making noise, which means I'll have some brass to refill
too.

I am convinced that rider hates me. It started off yesterday with a dead
battery, both tires on the southpaw side flat, then the deck suspension
slipped and dropped the right side to drag on the ground, then the decks
shift linkage lost a hair pin clip, so in 4 hours work, I actually got
half an hours mowing done. It can't be worn out, its a Craftsman made
in 83. ;-) But for the $300 I gave for it, I have doubled the 2 years
service that I got out of a new SP Cub Cadet for $400. Never, ever buy a
lawn tool with a Kawasaki engine. That one broke internal parts twice
while it was still in warranty.
