In my experience, double sided tape will creep. But the milling forces
here are probably under 5lbs and every which way, average close to zero.

I did consider making a flat from micarta, but if DS tape works, what do
I use for sacrificial as I don't expect it to stick terribly well to a
piece of marine 5 ply 9/32" thick thats been laying around long enough
to grow whiskers from the humidity. We're wet here, wettest year so far
in 31 years here in WV. Something above 5.5"/month since February.

I have grass 8-10" high in two weeks, so darned wet I'd be making a
green puree of it that comes out of the deck chute in grapefruit sized
globs. Was dry enough to sneak in an hour or so in the seat yesterday,
but the battery was down so has been on an automatic charger all night.
We'll see what later today brings.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
