MT3 is a "self holding taper". So, if a clean, burr-free holder is driven into a clean, burr-free socket, it should resist normal machining forces with NO drawbar, vacuum or other tricks. I doubt vacuum could provide the kind of impulse that was normally used to drive tools into the spindle.
