Mainly because I don't have a boring head, even fly cutter style. Its on my list of tools to acquire though. Once you get above the 1/4" mark in carbide mills, it rapidly escalates out of my pay grade. But with good drawings, I can make this pad I need. It was, maybe still is, a lack of good drawings that brought this subject up. Thanks Andy.
