I actually have a 7i77 but couldn't bring my self to use it on this project. It is way overkill. I basically didn't need that much i/o, encoder counters and analog outs.... 1 5i25 has 34 i/o. I am probably only going to use around 19. (give or take). The 7i77 is still very inexpensive for what you get.
