I think this thread says it all about this particular GeForce MX 440 and Linux. I tried apt-get for envyng-gtk and it no longer exists. https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1029381 But it looks like back in 2009 there wasn't a lot of support from NVidia for this board. I wonder why it works so well with Knoppix? John
