I had to think back quite a long way to remind myself about all this. The problem you are seeing is due to a bug-fix I put in for the 7i90 in cases where there was no config string specified. This is quite normal with a 7i90, slightly less so with a 7i43.
The problem should only happen if no ioaddr is specified. In that scenario the system tries to guess an ioaddr. Unfortunately it tries to guess two ioaddresses and the second one is likely to fail. This is what you are seeing. I did put a clever setup in place in the 2.8 / Master branch. But that potentially breaks currently-working systems. (if anyone is actually using two 7i43 cards and they both happen to be on the default address) You can ignore the messages. You should be able to suppress the messages by specifying an ioaddr. Can you show the INI [HOSMOT2] section and the HAL "loadrt hm2_7i43" sections? -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1916 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
