Silly question perhaps. If I understand the thread correctly it's possible to mount a camera on the Z axis and use the image to center over a point in order to accurately set the X,Y position? If so, I've been looking into youtube videos but can't find anything with cam_align as a key word. There are plenty of archived message streams that mention cam_align but they all seem to start in the middle. As in the posters already know how to use it or what it does. Is there a good you tube video that shows how to use a camera to align? "LinuxCNC cam_align" doesn’t find anything useful. At least for me.
