well i have worked out how to compile the new carousel component

i found something on the forum that andy had told someone else and copied it

now i have it setup in counts mode.

and also have a step gen running to control a step direction servo motor

i can trigger jog on the carousel component and the motor moves so thats a
start

and all my wiring ect just worked.

but the motor just runs away and out of control

first question is how should i configure the step gen?
and should i use closed loop stepper signals that pnconf pumps out or just
the step gen set to position mode?

and what is the basic stuff required to run. i am changing my config from
a carousel motor in index mode to one in counts mode

regards

Andrew
