That would be a really nice solution. I could use a 7i80DB (I'm not sure
the 7i92 can be connected to the 7i89) to interface with the 7i89.

Just checked and a 7I92 will just fit 24 encoder counters + 1 sserial channel
with a 7I89, but nothing else. So for a full configuration with one FPGA card,
and 24 frequency counter channels, you would need a larger FPGA (7I80DB,7I76E,7I92T,7I96S etc)
