Hi Oshiro,

Having a 15 minute lunch break is not a part of culture, but as there
is no place to sit, relax or converse, for employees in most offices,
they are forced to return to their work-desk immediately after lunch.
They are not supposed to stand somewhere and talk, peep out of windows
or or gave a group talk.

An office environment demands silence and order. Employees can talk
casually only while returning home, after office. Due to space
constraint, some office don't even have a separate eating place.
Employees eat on their desks and start working.

I don't know about other countries much, but in South Asia, with the
increase in population and literacy levels, educated man-power has
become cheap and abundant. This has resulted in wide-spread
exploitation.

Hi Pablo,

Are we not worse than before ? Although my ancestors had limited
resources, they lived a peaceful and hassle-free life, tilling their
land and irrigating trees and plants, serving only the Almighty.

Money has made lives of people worse.

thanks and regards
Anu
