Thank you Alexander -- no this is my first Linux system, and yes your tip brought the menu alive and I see the import function now. If I still have trouble I'll write again. However now I can't seem to get the "This message will be signed" option to go away, and as I have no imported keys to sign with, I can't send it just now. Ok--worked that one out. Thanks ~Rob
