Dear
Ludwig, Where can I find my Enigmail version. I cannot find such info under the Enigmail menu inside TB. There was no request from TB/Enigmail for a pinentry. So I did not cancel it. The encryption just happened, apparently (which I found out when I tried to edit the saved draft message, and couldn't). I am not using IMAP, so want to switch off that automatic encryption. Can I make that choice? Thanks, best regards, Roland On 06/06/2017 20:11, Ludwig

I usually can decrypt messages encrypted for myself. So, why can't I now?GnuPG found that your key was not accessible. Did you cancel the Pinentry passphrase dialog? Why does TB at all encrypt that draft message? Can I instruct TB/Enigmail to refrain from doing that? (It seems useless to me)Enigmail does not know (and can't know) where email drafts are stored. Many people use IMAP draft folders on the server, so not encrypting drafts is a safety risk, that's why this feature was introduced. Ludwig |
