that freedom has been taken away fro years on enlightenment-devel. to this date
i have received 0 complaints. now of course you can choose to start complaining
- fact is - no one has NOTICED. the conscientious of you can still reply to the
author directly - you just need to modify the To: and CC fields by hand to point
to the real author. as for people using reply-to fields for themselves. i would
agree that distinctly encouraging the lazy who just hit reply blindly - and
trust me - that is the vast majority of people, to have their replies on-list,
is good. unfortunately we do live in a world where the internet has become
significantly dumber and well - you end up having to cater for the lowest common
denominator if u only have 1 choice. if u can cater for both - fine. but for a
mailing list its a all or none thing here :(

but merely going on the fact that e-devel has been like this for an eternity and
not a single complaint has emerged over the years i'd say we are all wasting
time discussing this :)
