I don't think you get it - luncher is the application launcher - what was bryce and is now gadget bar is what holds the luncher (which is a gadget as well as any of your other gadgets - wireless, pager, temperature, cpumonitor, netstatus, etc.., etc.., etc...) so gadget bar makes sense. NM works with the wireless gadget so no need to switch to connman. Bryce was a joke we made -- nothing more to tell.
https://git.enlightenment.org/enlightenment/gadgets/wireless.git/ suports networkmanager (NM) and connman so whatever you have will work.
