To the MUB group:

Well, the bugs aren't any newer than Entourage. It's just that I only just
found them. Please add them to your list of "Things the Beta Testers Missed
and Reasons Why We Don't Pay Them"

1. If the control strip module OQV is set to have reminders on, then the
dialog to switch between users does not pop up upon starting Entourage, no
matter whether or not the checkbox is checked. Also, a rebuild cannot be
done. There is a message about another component of Office 2001 is open and
must be closed. Turning off reminders in OQV is the workaround.

2. If the address book info is in the main window, it is easiest to find a
record by highlighting the first record and then typing the first few
letters of the desired last name. This does not work in the following
circumstance:

I have a number of "nameless" contacts which have a company name, but no
individual is named. When the list is sorted from A to Z by name, all of
these nameless contacts appear at the top of the list. If I highlight the
first record and then type the first letters of a last name, the desired
record only appears if the name starts with a mid-group B or later. If is
before that, the highlighted record is one of the nameless, Company
Name-only records. The number of records that will not be properly revealed
is approx. equivalent to the number of nameless records which precede the
first last name beginning with "A".

If, however, the sort is from Z to A (with the nameless contacts appearing
at the bottom of the list), then typing the first few letters of a persons
name does work for all last names.

Coupled with the delay in double-clicking to open a record (I do use the
mini Applescript to open the highlighted record to avoid the delay), this
makes finding and opening a record very tedious for a nave user.
