Bruce,

As has been pointed out already about 17 times on this list, OQV 1.0 was
only finished about 10 days ago. Entourage had to be sent for manufacture
about 60 days ago. Any extra features or bug-fixes that were put into OQV
between 60 and 10 days ago could not be noted in Entourage.

MBU evidently thought, perhaps at a much later date than the original
conception of Entourage, that there was a demand for some sort of min-app.
A different sub-team developed it, and all the Office apps had to somehow
accommodate to it as it going through development. The first we heard of it
on the beta list, OQV beta 1, was when we were already up to about beta 11
(out of 17) of Entourage. It was still freezing my computer up to a week
before final release (October, that is). The MBU evidently wanted to get it
out by official release release date. They're still working on it, believe
me.

I'm sure they're taking note of all bug reports, including yours, which must
be very useful to them. And I'm sure they will release a version 1.1 at
MacTopia when they're ready. In the meantime, if you feel its limitations
are worse than not having it, just uninstall it and wait for the update,
just as if they hadn't released it yet. But I'm sure that the feedback from
people like you is really useful to them. Think of it as a public beta, if
you wish, and you're a member of the public beta team. And this list is the
public beta list, since the programme managers and some developers all read
the list. Unlike Mac OS X, they didn't even charge extra for OQV 1.0.

I personally would appreciate it, however, if you could find it in your
heart to be a little less accusatory in your denunciations here.
