The membership secretary of a historical society I'm part of maintains all
of the member data, including printing the third-class labels, with Excel,
where everything except email addresses is entered in all caps. As editor
of the society's magazine, I frequently need to write letters to individual
members (which is where the combination of entourage and Word is a big
help). I felt that putting an all-caps address on a first-class envelope
looks cheap and impersonal, and pasting it at the top of a letter is even
worse.
An alternative might be to have a script that copies the name and address
from Entourage, converts it to title case, then puts it on the clipboard
for Word.
