Someone else is having similar problems. I think we've got a version
conflict here somewhere because the script works fine for me. "Date string"
is a new command in Standard Additions as of a recent release of
AppleScript, currently at 1.4.3. Do you have that? If not, you should be
using "date string for" instead of "date string of", and should install the
"Date String For" scripting addition.
Also, the daterec problem may have to do with the version of Tanaka's osax.
Do you have the latest version?
