Shameless request for script

The challenge of writing an applescript is fascinating. I find programming
an intellectually satsifying occupation, much like guitar playing.

However with my four children and job there isn't a lot of time to get right
up to speed on applescript syntax.

Is there a script that will take a list of contacts that have category X and
make a mailing group out of them, so that I can send an email to all
contacts of category X?
