While setting up my address book/calendar I have come across a significant
limitation. The lack of date fields for spouse and children. If I'm to rely
on Entourage to be my calendar I need to enter birthdays for nieces, nephews
and spouses. I know that I can create extra contacts to do this but there
isn't even a field for a spouse's birthday. To properly make calendar events
I would have to set up a contact for each family member or enter each
birthday into the calendar as an event. As my family is rather prolific this
would be quite a task and inefficient use of what should be a tool to remind
me of important events. One of the most important tasks I have is keeping
the peace at home and in the family. Remembering birthdays and anniversaries
is very helpful in that regard.
Am I missing something or one of the few who has this need?
