Reverting back to Outlook ExpressI have done the same. I no longer use Entourage. It is far too slow on my 2000 PowerBook 400, and it's calendar functions are too ugly and too limiting compared to Palm Desktop (no "merge" feature and crummy event bars, for example).
I've had it with�Entourage� So, I want to revert back to Outlook Express for email and Palm Desktop for my calendar. Can anyone offer some guidance on how to do it?
If you saved your PalmDesktop user info, you can pick up where you left off. If not, then you should first synch Entourage with a Pam unit, then sync the Palm with Palm Desktop to update your Palm Desktop calendar, etc. If you wish to save your Entourage e-mail info, then export it before trashing Entourage.
Finally, trash the Microsoft Office 2001 folder in your Applications folder (first saving any templates you created), then do a custom install of Mac Office 2001, deselecting Entourage. Do not install QuickView.
