These comments are about the fact that in Outlook 2000 you can take an email
message in the inbox, click and drag it to the left folder menu over the
Task folder and it will auto-generate a task with the contents of that email
in the body of the task and the email subject as the task subject. It does
the same for dragging Email to contacts and notes. Entourage does not do
this.
These are not Mac features, but rather Outlook 2000 features that were
somehow "overlooked" when they built Entourage for the Mac. That is what I
was speaking of. The Palm conduit built into Entourage is extremely
unstable and unreliable - even the techs that I have spoken with at Palm and
Microsoft readily admit this. It is a product that should not have been
commercially released until it was fully functional.
