You make your points well, Paul, but let's face it, entourage sucks royally
at some things. And I didn't find the marketing effort to be upfront about
the issues. Mail merge with word? Well it doesn't do that even as well as
Appleworks (for example). But by God, the hype promised so much. Sync with
Palm? Nice idea, but we're disappointed once again. Sure we're responsible
for what we buy. And microsoft should be responsible for what they sell, and
what they say (or imply) it does. I already had software that worked but I
bought Office because of the PIM and it's integration with the other
parts--mail merge & sync of course. That was a sexy idea. Too sexy as it
turned out. So I for one, felt ripped off.
For those of you who don't have the stomach for some bitching, sorry you
read this far.
