Christian, sorry for not being explicit. Yes, I trashed the prefs before
reinstall (I think I got all of them...including IE)

I meant to imply I had to add back accts because I had deleted prefs.

I plan to keep trying, but I've had to fire up Excalibur again (a bit of
dusting and he's fighting the good fight ;).
