Speaking as an email user (and not as a Microsoft employee), I would say that this is not a fair comparison. A car can't run without tires. The overwhelming majority of Entourage users (me included) never use AppleScript with Entourage. Yes the scripting support is a key feature of the product. It isn't one that anywhere near the majority of our users use.
