Sorry Steve, you missed the point of the question - In Eudora, if you 
option click on a subject (or a name, or a status symbol etc) in the 
<folder listing>, all messages that match the one clicked on will be 
selected and grouped together.

It's a great feature, invaluable to anyone who has experienced it!
