True. There are a few cases when files in a folder can be considered kind of
an uber-document. In that case, if the files are numbered, it makes sense. I
suppose it also makes sense if you're sorting by some other criteria like
size or label (not that labels are supported yet, but maybe someday).

Well, the point is that it *does* have some detrimental effect. Like poor
Greg in the corner. :)

Honestly, the behavior actually doesn't bother me much on the Mac. I can get
used to it and might even come to appreciate it in list view. I ranted
because I forgot that Apple had kept the old behavior in icon view. Icon
view is where the distinction really matters. My mistake. :)
