As the Mac Business Unit read the Internet standards, some address in the To
field is required (to meet the standard; obviously, messages go through
without a To field). Some disagree. But this isn't going to change. Using
yourself as the To: recipient is the best idea. I've been doing it for
years, since SOME ISPs will not <receive> mail without a To: address. AOL
used to block such mail; they may not any longer.
